About the Artist

Vicki Bleile

Vicki Bleile was born and raised in Wisconsin where she developed a passion for the woods and wildlife. "I grew up in a family where free time quite naturally involved some sort of outdoor activity. Family vacations were planned according to what season was open, or which fish were running." Her other love was art. It was only a matter of time before the two joined and Wall Mountain Studio was born. Since 1986, Vicki has made her home at the foot of Wall Mountain in North Idaho. It is not unusual to look out her studio window and see deer or moose browsing nearby, as well as occasional visits from elk, bear, and cougar, offering an endless amount of material for future work. The scenery of Boundary County, and the wildlife which inhabit it, have become the focus of her art.
