"Raghorn Retreat" |
| Adolescence, a difficult and confusing time for the young bull elk. Too mature to be considered insignificant, yet not developed enough to be a threat. Still, he follows the harem, moving in closer when the chance permits, only to turn and run when the herd bull screams a warning that he's crossed the line. Again the steps will be repeated, a dance of the fall rut, the raghorn retreat. |
